♥ Cake or money...the most difficult decisions normally involve food ♥

Sometimes in life,   Money matters. It shouldn't but it does. I've always understood the value of goods but it wasn't until recently with tax increases and prices rocketing that I realised how expensive the things you actually want are.

In just over a month I will finally be 18 [woo!] and to celebrate I'm having a party so I went all out to get a cheap deal with the hall and catering etc. But if there's one thing I always wanted for a big birthday party was a nice big cake. I don't mean any old nice cake, I mean a tiered one and to top it off I found a few amazing ones which I fell in love with straight away.
They are expensive, I knew a cake would be. I mean we got a plain fruit cake decorated for my Grandparents' 50th anniversary. It was iced in white with gold writing and butterflies...£60 that cost, and that's when we had provided the cake. So you can imagine how expensive a cake I want is when it needs to be made too.
A two tier cake to feed 60 people would cost around £160, which is just ludicrous bearing in mind it just gets eaten :| But I am determined to save enough money to get it :)
Below are some pictures of the cakes I've fallen in love with:

I like the black and white ones best but thought so long as I choose a good design, the colours can come later :) Fingers crossed I can save enough money in time for my party!
