EXPO!!!!!

Oh my gosh expo was amazing! As I said before, I went as Misa Amane and Chris went as Light Yagami :) I bought ribbon because my friend couldn’t find the ribbon that goes with the corset, but I managed to get some. I didn’t realise until I laced the corset that I colour co-ordinated with Chris, which was awesome :)

Here are our outfits hung up before the day
I was actually really happy when I got there because I was worried that  people wouldn’t know who I was cosplaying as due to the lack of fringe, but within the first 5 minutes of walking into the Excel, random people were greeting me. Everyone was so friendly! I went to the toilets and a boy came up to me and said “MISA!!” it was so surreal!
A lot of people called Chris “L” which was irritating as he is a completely different character, who wears a tee-shirt, jeans and no shoes! I think it’s because people haven’t paid much attention and “L” sounds quite similar to “Light”. Oh well…

When we were queuing up, Chris and I tried to get everyone to do the Timewarp but I don't think we tried hard enough as it just ended up with 4 of us doing it :)

We spent a lot of time in the Yu-gi-oh section because Chris is really into it and really good and I'm trying to learn how to play too [he's making me a deck so I can learn properly ;)] it was really good because I could try and pick up on things he was doing (like "synchro"...yeah I'm learning terminology too!). Also I met his yu-gi-oh friends who he's always talking about, so I really liked that :)


I will definitely go again, and most definitely cosplay again - I’m an anime convert now ;)

P.s. I bought Pacman energy drink – I don’t even like energy drink but this looked (and tasted) brilliant!
