Chocolate Brownies

Today I have been a very naughty girl. I woke at 7am with good intentions. I needed to finish my music theory practise paper and take it round to be marked before Monday’s lesson, I also planned on doing a Hamlet essay. At 7.15am I fell asleep again. I eventually woke up again at 9.30am and dragged myself into the bath at about 11am. This is how my life goes on a Saturday lol; as soon as I had woken up the second time, I knew that I wanted to bake chocolate brownies. No worries, I thought, timed essay is 40 minutes so there will will plenty of time. However, by the time I had had brunch (bacon wrap-I’m a student, what do you expect?!), and finished my music it was 1.20pm.

Now, it takes an hour to get to my teacher’s house so I took my iPod, thinking I would at least read some PDF revision notes to pass the time. Mum asked me to get some shopping on the way back, too. Of course, I sat down on the bus, whipped it out (my iPod, of course), and switched it on. Only it didn’t turn on. The apple didn’t even flash up on the screen for a second. Then it hit me. It had been sat in my drawer, on, with a low battery for 4 days causing it to run out of battery. So revising on the bus was out too :(
By the time I got back home, it was 4pm and I wasn’t in the mood for an essay, especially in this heat. So this is where I was naughty. I came home and baked straight away. It’s a recipe I have never used before but they smell b-e-a-utiful!
The weird thing is that I haven’t got a square tin so I’ve had to improvise with round cake tins; I also realised that I don’t have baking paper so improvised with sunflower oil :/ I will add photos of the finished brownies ones they’re cooled.

It’s the smell that’s stopping me feeling guilty. Also, I only have my ICT exam sessions next week and I reckon they should be okay so I will have plenty of revision time during the week :) xx

P.s. I finished death note! Not sure if I've already mentioned this, but after my exams I'm going to watch it in Japanese with subtitles [I've been watching dubbed] and eventually I hope to be able to watch it without subtitles - because I'm a geek :P I started to watch High School of the Dead, but have decided that's definately one for after my exams. No wonder so many boys recommended it to me - so much boobage lol !!!

xx
