Carrot Cake :)

Forgot to mention, the other day I finally got round to making carrot cupcakes. Chris helped me as I had wanted us to try and bake together for a while, so it made me happy :)
They taste good, but they are a little salty as I went to add 1/4 of a teaspoon of salt and there was only a tiny bit in the box so I poured it all in…turns out there was more than I thought lol!
For the icing, we made butter cream and added lemon zest so to make it a little different. I know that it’s traditional to use cream cheese frosting but I’m not a fan so we thought we’d mix it up a bit ;)
They don’t look too bad either, if I do say so myself ;)

Planning on getting him involved with me making Chocolate Brownies next time ;) we’ll see how that works out lol
