So, today things haven’t gone quite as well as planned. To sort out the electrics for the shower unit (we’re having an electric shower fitted) the builders needed to put the piping in the wall. However, when drilling a gap for the piping, the external wall began to crumble, so they had to stop. So instead of hiding the piping away, we will have to have chrome pipes on top of the tiles so they will be open to the world to see. This means it won’t look anywhere near as nice as we wanted :(
