This or That?

I'm not normally one for beauty blogging for several reasons; for starters, it seems a bit too much effort for me and secondly it's rather girly. As any of my regular blog readers will know, I'm more of a 'lifestyle' blogger or topical. However, when Lara tagged me in 'This or That' I thought I would give it a bash. Basically it's like a would you rather tag game which bloggers 'tag' one another in to answer the questions, with the idea it travels around the country/world with different people answering them! It also came at a great time for me, as I was suffering from writer's block. So, here we go, prepare for my girliest post yet!

Make up:

1. Blush or Bronzer: I tend not to wear either but, if I had to choose (which I do), I would say blusher. With bronzer, you always risk looking a little over the top and (dare I say it) chavy.

2. Lip gloss or lip stick: I love both, but I have moved onto lipstick in recent years as there is less chance my hair will stick to my face!

3. Eyeliner or mascara: Eyeliner, although I'm the kind of person who wears them both together. I yearn to master the 'cats eyes' look!

4. Foundation or concealer: Foundation every time! (Although I have quite bad skin, so I tend to layer concealer, cream foundation, powder foundation.

5. Natural or Coloured eyeshadow: When I was younger, I had to wear coloured eyeshadow for dance performances, and that's put me off now so I go with natural to prevent looking too OTT.

6. Pressed or loose eyeshadow: Loose, although I have to be careful because I wear contact lenses and can't let any get in my eyes.

7. Brush or Sponge: Both - sponge then brush to blend

 Nails:

1.Opi or Chin Glaze: What on Earth is Chin Glaze? I'm going to have to say OPI but I've never tried it as it's quite pricey.

2. Long or Short: Long, although my nails break quite a lot at work so I'm trying to keep them a maximum of 1cm in length now.

3. Acrylic or natural: Natural - I've never tried acrylic. What's the point if you have nails?

4. Bright or dark: Both! It depends on the seasons and occasion etc.

5. Flower or no Flower: Again, it depends on the setting as to whether nail art would be appropriate, but I do like it sometimes. Normally just go for plain nails now as it's so much easier!

Body:

1. Perfume or body splash: I presume body 'splash' is body spray? I like that as it's so convenient to carry around. I like perfume but it can be a bit over powering sometimes.

2. Lotion or Body Butter: Butter. Preferably cocoa butter.

3. Body wash or soap: Body wash. I don't like soap unless it's fruit scented, really.

4. Lush or Other: I love lush, but they seem to specialise in bath products and there is no bath at uni, so I have so many stocked up since last Christmas!

Fashion:

1. Jeans or Sweat Pants: Jeans. I can't stand joggers. They're comfy, but so ugly.

2. Long sleeves or short sleeve: Short sleeved. I'm getting better with it, but I rather wear short sleeves layered up, because otherwise I feel trapped.

3. Dress or Skirt: Dresses. I always want to wear skirts, but can never pair them up with tops etc. Dresses are so much more convenient!

4. Scarves or Hat: Scarves. They both suit me, but I don't really like wearing either of them.

5. Studs or dangling earrings. I prefer studs on people. Personally I don't have my ears pierced.

6. Necklace or bracelet: I love the look of bracelets, but they always seem to clink and clunk too much, so I prefer necklaces.

7. Heels or flats: It depends on the event. I like wearing heels when I'm going on an evening out, but flats are better for daytime.

8. Cowboy boots or riding boots: I don't even know...I'm not a horse fan...but I think I prefer cowboy boots.

9. Jackets or hoodies: I'm far too practical. I like jackets but only if it's not raining. Otherwise, I'm a hoodie fan.

10. Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe: Well this is obviously an American thing. I think I might change the options for whoever I tag next. Forever 21 or Primark. I would go with Primark as it's cheaper and I'm poor ;)

 Hair:

1. Curly or Straight: I had horrifically curly hair when I was younger, and it was really unmanageable. I now have straight hair due to 230­ degree tongs, but unfortunately my hair doesn't even go curly at all any more. Just frizzy!

2.  Bun or Ponytail: I used to love buns, but I think I look like a boy with one noe, so will have to say ponytail.

3. Bobby pin or butterfly clips: Butterfly clips, I think. I rarely use either though.

4. Hairspray or gel: Hairspray.

5. Long or short: Medium length. Shoulder length, I think. I couldn't go shorter.

6. Dark or light: I like both, although I just went blonde and I still can't decide if it suits me. I think it does, but I think darker looked a little more suited.

7. Side swept bangs or fully bangs: I've never tried a full fringe, I keep meaning to get one, but can't bring myself to! Currently got a side fringe.

8. Up or down: Down. It's easier, isn't it?

Random:

 1. Rain or shine: Shine, although sometimes rain is nice. That's rare, though.

2. Summer or winter: they both have their advantages.

3. Fall or spring: Spring. It promises that summer is on its way and I like looking at the flowers blooming.

4. Chocolate or Vanilla: Chocolate flavour, vanilla scent.
