Easter

I don't know if it's just the stress from college or whether I am simply growing out of it, but we are now in the Easter holidays and I have yet to buy anyone an Easter egg, nor care whether I will get any eggs.

I used to love this time of year, I'm a real chocoholic so would get 2 massive eggs from my parents, plus lots of little ones from friends and would have eaten them by lunchtime on Easter Sunday. I'm not too bothered now though (yet we do have another weeek so I may get more excited!) I think it's because I've reached a stage in life where I've realised there are more important things to worry about than chocolate eggs.
One thing I really liked about bank holidays and half terms etcetera, would be that I could watch films and play board games with the family for days on end. We don't do that any more, there simply isn't time. Although yesterday I played monopoly with my boyfriend and he won. I always forget what a long game it is if you're losing...so tedious lol!

I do like to bake though, so at some point next week, even if it's on Easter Sunday, I plan to bake a cake or brownies or something.
I'm absolutely in love with these...
