Things I found

 

I thought I would try to tidy my room. It didn’t work. I only got as far as my desk I kept finding things and getting distracted. One item I found was the diary from my school “Dance band” trip to Austria in July 2007. Reading it, I only got to writing up day 3 but thought I would publish it here :)

Day 1-20th

Oh my gosh! over 22 hours – what a joke…so bored!

4.45pm arrived at hostel

They have 10 rabbits. We decided to name them all: Donkey, Midget, Jim, Rosie, Tom, Scratch, Thumper, Sweet, Sour...

We had dumpling soup for dinner – the most vile thing I have ever tasted!

Day 2

Today we went tobogganing. It was so fun! I thought I would hate it but ended up going again because it was so good.

Lewis and Joe wouldn’t stop singing “In the jungle” today. It was really funny because of the “wooo…wooooooooooh aweeee umbumboowayy” bit :) Their voices haven’t broken yet so they can reach really high notes!

We had pizza for dinner tonight, it was way better than dumpling soup.

We had our first concert tonight

Laying outside watching the stars now. The sky’s so clear, it’s beautiful!

Day 3

Today we went to:

- Salzburg

- Trick Water Gardens

- Mozart museum

- 2nd Concert (at a spa)

Day 4

We went to a castle today

Then we went swimming

We had another concert tonight. I was handing out the leaflets and got everyone up dancing ;) it was awesome

Oh also we made a Yellow Submarine remix :)
