Had the weirdest day. At work, I got chatted up by a camel. True, he wasn’t an actual camel, he was just an extremely ugly customer. Okay that’s not fair, I’m sure anyone else would find him attractive, but despite the fact he wasn’t to me, I was taken so he just wasn’t attractive. So anyway, “do you work here 7 days a week? what do you do in your other time?” I have this motto, if you don’t like the look of someone, say you’re younger than you actually are because if they are a respectable person they will feel like a bit of a pervert and back off [I’ve used it before, so the advice is from experience lol]. So I told him I was still at college, and when he was surprised I did more than 1 subject, I emphasised the fact that it was the ‘first year of sixth form.’ Anyway, he backed off eventually :)
I went into Tesco at lunch and discovered a Wimbledon special sandwich; I didn’t actually buy it but I reckon it would be okay as it’s on Poppy seed bread ;)
It was Gay Pride in London today, so the journey home was pretty busy.
In the scheme of things, it hasn’t been as weird a day as I originally thought when I started this post haha :)
I have been reading ‘Will Grayson, Will Grayson’ over the day, as I ordered it earlier in the week and it arrived last night. As with most of John Green’s books, I‘m addicted lol :) I will probably make a post all about it once I’m finished [I’m already 50 pages from the end]
xx
