Smurfs!

Tomorrow Chris is coming to visit me, and I am so excited! It’s ‘smurf’ night at my student union, so I have coerced him into coming to the fancy dress :) I didn't have anything to wear, so I had to buy something white :| We have a Primark in town so I had hoped that with any luck I would find something which wouldn't break the bank and would hopefully want to wear again at some point. This proved a lot more difficult than I had originally thought, as it is winter and therefore there is very little in the way of white clothing. I found a couple of dresses the right style but the wrong colour, and I found a white dress which was gorgeous. Unfortunately it was £20, and despite that being relatively reasonable, it was too nice to risk staining it with blue paint. In the end I bought an XL mens t-shirt for £2.50 from Primark, and watched this video so I should be okay, although I am a little concerned that the 'bow' that the girl in the video goes on about will just look like sleeves...
I have bought some blue paint, too - kind of had to, really, otherwise we would just be dressed in white!
I have made hats out of pillowcases, which was far easier and cheaper than I anticipated. I only bought a metre of elastic for 2 hats, though, so they're a little tight. Oh well, it's the thought that counts!!



I have even dusted and vacuum cleaned - that is how excited I am!
