Revision will pay off!
I only had one exam for my course this summer, but I have been revising like crazy to get a good grade. Many of the people at university aren’t bothered about doing well during the first year as it doesn’t count towards the final degree, but I believe that if you get good grades throughout the first year, it bodes really well for the rest of the degree. On Friday, the exam finally came around and I was so glad that I revised to the extent that I did! The exam took a slightly different format than we all anticipated it, but I think it went really well!
Now I have finished my first year of university and am ready for the summer! I am going to spend some time getting up to date with my guiding leadership as I hope to get that finished as soon as possible :)
I was hoping that my friends from hope would come to visit whilst I still had time in Ipswich, but they have since decided that two of the three weekends in which they were supposedly going to be free, they are in fact unable to visit. It's extremely frustrating, especially when I had things planned and was really looking forward to seeing them. It's not a serious issue though, after all that's why I made new friends at uni, I knew that very few people would want to make effort to keep in contact. That's how life goes, and it's time to get used to that fact.
xx
