Christmas 2012

This year, I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Chris’s house. On Christmas Eve his parents had family to visit, which was nice. It was mainly people I had met before but I did meet one or two new faces who were all really friendly. I felt so welcomed, I mean I always do but it was just really pleasant to find people I had never met just accept me as part of the family. Absolutely everybody had bought me Christmas presents [even Chris’s Grandmother who wasn’t there had sent me a present!] which, to be honest, made me feel a little guilty as I barely bought anything for his family as I hadn’t expected it at all. Next year I will make sure I have purchased things so I’m not caught out ;)
Christmas Day was equally lovely. We all went to church in the morning [I had never been to a Christmas service before] and I met some of Chris’s family’s friends as well as seeing some of the family I had seen the day previous. We got back and unwrapped presents – I cannot believe how spoilt I was! I meant to take a photograph of everything I got but didn’t quite get round to it. All in all it was a really lovely day; the five of us played The Logo Game, which is practically the only game I can beat Chris at!
On Boxing Day, my mum picked us up so Chris and I could spend the day with my parents. It was fantastic, as we got to have Christmas all over again! Once again, I was spoilt, although my room has been my biggest present this year and it looks fantastic now it is finished!

We played Trivial Pursuit, a game I never win but managed to this time [got a feeling there were a few rules skipped out though!]. Boxing Day lunch was delicious! Roast Lamb covered in a garlic crust with all the trimmings – my favourite!

I had such a wonderful three days, I hope you all had a good Christmas too!
