Boredom sets in…

This week has dragged like a dog with no hind legs…sorry that was a gross analogy :P but I imagine a dog with no back legs would drag a fair bit, and that’s exactly what my week has done.
Chris visited at the weekend, which was lovely :) we went to the cinema and saw Puss in Boots [3d]. It was quite a good film, although the cinema was full of children – oh well, I’ll happily hold my hands up and admit that the movie was my choice!

We also made the Gingerbread house :) I know it looks like we made a bit of a mess of it, but oh well!

It was yummy but quite sickly after a lot of it!

I cooked a yummy roast chicken dinner on Sunday [if I do say so myself!] and was very proud as I managed to carve the chicken all on my own! To be honest, I got tips from an old cookery programme my parents forced me to watch over Christmas!
So yeah, the weekend itself was pretty awesome, but I don’t start university until  next week so it’s been a little slow. I have tried to read Shakespeare’s King Richard II, for my course, but haven’t got the faintest idea of what’s going on :| I am excited for tomorrow, however, as Becca and Nicole are coming up to visit me from home so that will be some fun company :D Don’t know what we are going to do yet, but so far it sounds like a weekend of takeaways ;) oh well, one weekend won’t hurt!!

Forest :)

Well after writing my first blog post this morning, I stayed in bed until midday :)

When I finally dragged myself out of bed, my parents and I decided to take a visit to Hainault Country Park(Forest). We go to forests and open spaces quite often, but we realised that we had never been to this particular park which was strange as it’s our nearest. It was quite a nice afternoon, we walked 30 mins through the forest to get to a pub where we had lunch and I had my first lager at a pub (still not got ID though, so I didn’t buy it!).

It was a perfect day for kites so we saw quite a few. I have decided to make one in the summer and take it to London as I’ve made them before and know how to do it with a bin-bag.

On the way back to the car park, we notice a mini farm which was free entry so we had a look around.

The pictures aren’t too great I’m afraid, as they were taken on my phone and I seem to have a natural shake which makes me incapable of holding my phone/camera steady when taking photos:
