I just realised it’s been a while since my last post. Sorry about that…I’d say that I’ve been too busy…but then I’d be lying. Not that I haven’t been busy…more preoccupied. Also, I’ve struggled to think of things to write about. Excuses over :)
Anyway, I went out clubbing the other day and it was good fun. I drank very little, as 1) I don’t like being drunk 2) If I’m in a new environment, I like to know 100% what I’m doing. Yeah, I enjoyed it for most of the evening, it was the latest I’ve ever been out actually. We meet at a pub at about 8 o’clock and then went to a bar/club place which was really good. Dangerous though - 5 drinks for £5. I figured, “hey that’s cheap, £1 each if 5 people go in together” but no, most of my friends would rather have 5 drinks to themselves. This is bearing in mind that you have to buy them all at the same time so either have to drink all 5 really quickly, or leave them on the side (which we all know is dangerous). I had water for most of the night, not because I’m boring, but in my view it’s the people who need to get drunk to have fun who are boring. So it was an enjoyable night overall, although after the club shut at 2am, we moved to a somewhat less classy one. The guys were so sleazy you could see them eyeing people up from across the room, especially as the dance floor used strobe lighting and whenever the lights flashed off, a chavy bloke would be a step closer to you. It was so creepy lol, it was like the Weeping angels from Doctor Who!
Not only that, every one smelt really strongly of Weed :| That was an experience at least lol, and I can safely say I’m never going back to that club again!
