Went to my best friend’s house yesterday for a bit of a party. It was good fun apart from a couple of mishaps. Billy and Stephen started mucking around and it ended up with Steve being sick in the kitchen sink (I’ve never known that reaction from being punched in the testicular area lol!) which was just charming. Luckily Becca had washed up already!
On a lighter note, Becca had gone to a hell of a lot of effort baking. She made a lovely sponge cake with icing and apologised for it being Blackcurrant instead of strawberry, as she had run out of strawberry. It actually was fine with me as I prefer blackcurrant to strawberry :) She was a fantastic host, cooked a spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, and had also made millionaire shortbread for dessert.
We played twister and somehow I always lost! I’ve never been good at that game. Mind you, I wasn’t aware of how terrible I am at it…I played it by myself for one round and ended up in a heap on the floor after the first instruction, “right hand yellow.” *SMASH!!! Faceplants floor* lol.
Yeah it was fun :) we watched The Full Monty and Austin Powers which was awesome as I hadn’t seen them for years.
