University Politics continued...

Today was SUCH a nerve racking day! I wasn't aware of how much I wanted the role of School Officer until I realised that today would be the moment of truth. The whole experience [despite deeming extremely stressful at certain points] has been fantastic; we had great fun, I met a lot of new people and we have hopefully made some friends for life!

We definitely did increase the votes this year by a lot...I think we nearly tripled the previous year's result.

Results were announced from 8pm and I was very pleased when the Returning Officer announced that I will officially take on the title of School Officer from 1st July this year!
Everyone did so well, I am so glad I did it, and I'm really looking forward to working with everyone in their different roles :)
